"Dark Matter" is about a man who is abducted into an alternate version of his life. Amid the mind-bending landscape of the lives he could have lived, he embarks on a harrowing journey to reunite with his true family. The title aims to evoke the feeling of being trapped in a never-ending and constantly changing maze. The single shot technique enhances the tension, mirroring the maze's continual evolution. This project was a highly collaborative effort between director Ronnie Koff and myself. We continuously exchanged C4D files to refine the camera's movements and the maze's design. My focus was on developing the concrete shader, lighting, and animations.
